ABOUT COSWICK
solid hardwood floors

  Introduction

COSWICK Hardwood Flooring has an exceptional reputation for its quality and service both in Europe and North America.
Our reputation in built on a solid foundation of:
- striving for excellence;
- loyalty and honesty;
- social and environmental responsibility.

  History

COSWICK flooring was presented on the market in 1995. Following the latest market trends of the time, COSWICK was producing unfinished solid strip flooring.

Having inherited the best German woodworking traditions, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and headed by young and energetic team, COSWICK quickly set up a new quality benchmark in flooring industry.

COSWICK line of prefinished flooring was introduced in 2002. Innovative ProAlumTech finishing system ensured flooring finish of exceptional appearance, durability and performance.

Reflecting the growing interest in more natural, sustainable, and environmentally-friendly floors, COSWICK introduced its line of Wire-Brushed and Oiled Hardwood Flooring in 2004.

In 2007, COSWICK reached another benchmark of innovative growth by beginning construction of a new manufacturing plant for production of engineered flooring. COSWICK's line of 2-layer and 3-layer engineered hardwood flooring was introduced in 2008. In November 2009, COSWICK's 3-layer engineered flooring was switched to the new generation 5G locking system, licensed by Valinge Innovation (Sweden).

In addition to classic and quarter sawn white oak flooring collections, COSWICK now offers solid and engineered Ash flooring, as well as exotic collections of engineered American Walnut and Brazilian Cherry flooring.

COSWICK manufacturing process in completely integrated – the company operates its own sawmills, milling shops, kilns, finishing lines and recycling facilities. State-of-the-art equipment and technology are being used at every stage of production to  ensure top quality, durability and appearance of all COSWICK hardwood floors.

  COSWICK and Environment

Solid environmental practices are the key priority at COSWICK Hardwood.
100% of wood residue and sawdust that are generated in production are being recycled. Part of them is used as fuel for our kilns, and the rest is being recycled into wood pellets. Wood pellets are widely used in Europe for home heating.
Raw lumber that is used for COSWICK floors comes as a result of selective cutting from local sustainable forests. COSWICK works together with local government organizations to protect and maintain green environments.
