Since 1818, a particular tree has been used as the official “herald of the spring” in Geneva. The sautier (secretary of the Parliament of the Canton of Geneva) observes the tree each year and notes the day of arrival of the first bud. Coswick designers sought to honor this beautiful tradition by creating a naturally warm color and naming it after the city of Geneva.

Geneva wide plank flooring comes with factory applied Eco Silk Oil finish. This innovative environmentally friendly finish is derived from seed oil and other natural components. Eco Silk Oil finish consists of 2 coats of natural oil that penetrates into the wood pores, preserving authentic look and textured feel of the wood floor surface. Eco Silk Oil has high resistance to moisture or temperature fluctuations. Eco Silk Oil is easy to maintain; renewing this finish is a quick and simple DIY procedure.
