Stair Nosing

Stair nosing is a horizontally projecting edge of a stair tread that curves around the stair edge, both covering and decorating it.

Coswick stair nosings are manufactured in 3 sizes and are to be used with corresponding  hardwood flooring construction types.

Stair Nosing

Western Europe, CIS, Near East:

4 1/2″ x 3/4″ stair nosing is meant to be used with 3/4″ thick solid hardwood flooring;

4 1/2″ x 1/2″ stair nosing goes with 1/2″ 2-layer engineered T&G flooring;

4 1/2″ x 5/8″ stair nosing is to be used with 5/8″ thick 3-layer CosLoc 5G single strip flooring.

 

105 x 19mm (3 1/2″ x 3/4″) stair nosing is meant to be used with 19.05mm (3/4″) thick solid hardwood flooring;

105 x 12.7mm (3 1/2″ x 1/2″) stair nosing goes with 12.7mm (1/2″) 2-layer engineered T&G flooring;

105 x 15mm (3 1/2″ x 5/8″) stair nosing is to be used with 15mm (5/8″) thick 3-layer CosLoc 5G single strip flooring.

Coswick stair nosings are manufactured from solid oak, ash and American walnut. Finished stair nosings come in lengths of 2100mm (82.6″) and 1200mm (47.2″). Stair nosings come prefinished in all Coswick styles and surface finishes. Stair nosings are available prestained in any Coswick color, which enables color matching between floor and walls, floor and doors, floor and furniture.

Coswick line of hardwood floor care and maintenance products includes wax pencils and stains that come in all Coswick colors.
