- top wear layer is 4 mm thick and can be sanded up to 4 times. Coswick uses only sawn lamellas for top layer. Sawn hardwood lamellas have no internal checks that could cause face splits later on. Sawn hardwood lamellas are 100% solid wood and preserve the rich grain texture appearance;
- moisture-resistant birch 7 layer plywood is used for base layer. Precuts on bottom side provide flexibility and straightening of the planks. Plywood base emission class is E1 (EN 14342);
- due to multilayer plywood base flooring has minimal movement and maintain superb dimensional stability through seasonal humidity fluctuations;
- high-adhesion hot-melt polyurethane glues are used to bond top lamella to plywood base. Extra strong bonding and moisture-resistant birch plywood ensures that no delamination occurs even under elevated moisture conditions or flooding. Coswick polyurethane adhesives are 100% formaldehyde free and are environmentally friendly.
